Santoku Knives
The Santoku has gained popularity in American households over the past decade. The name "Santoku" literally translates to "knife of three virtues" and is meant for 1) Fruits/Vegetables, 2) Meats, and 3) Seafood. Its shorter blade length of 6½-7" is easier to control than a typical 8" chef's knife and is lighter in weight for fatigue-free cutting. The MSK-65 and SK-65 have been some of our top sellers over the last few years and have received fanatic ratings from several reviews.DA SK-180 Santoku 7"
This 7″ Santoku is ideal for those who prefer a smaller “chef’s” knife. Great for most fruits, vegetables, and proteins.
MSK-65 Mighty Santoku 6½"
The iconic kitchen knife over the last decade. The dimpled Santoku has become commonplace amongst the current household knife set. The MAC Mighty santoku features the standard bolster of our Professional Series and dimples to help the knife glide through almost any food with ease. The “knife of three virtues” is perfect for fruits/vegetables, meats, and fish. This knife also features our sub-zero tempered steel which retains its edge better than our original steel.
SK-65
The only “Favorite Knife” in the Cook’s Illustrated article “Do You Really Need a Santoku Knife?” when compared to many other top brands. Most manufacturers have jumped onto the Santoku bandwagon and created their own versions within the last 10 years, but MAC perfected this design over 40 years ago and it’s still beating out the competition. It has a great multi-purpose size which is comfortable for most people, especially those who are intimidated by using larger chef’s knives. The thin blade and razor-sharp edge are meant to be used on fruits/vegetables, meats, and seafood.
